Sages, mystics, visionaries and other worldly wise people have known for hundreds if not thousands of years that the outer world we live in actually starts in our own minds first. Our subconscious is such a powerful tool, that it draws external experiences, places and people to us that match up with whatever it's storing. In other words, our subconscious takes all of the beliefs we've built up about the world
internally and matches them up with our real life experiences
externally in order to validate those beliefs.
Try this simple exercise - spend a day regularly thinking that most cars are red and then see how many "more" red cars you notice.

Creative visualization is the process of clearly picturing in your mind what you want to happen in your future life - it's another way of programming a new belief into your subconscious (another effective way is through
affirmations). We want this new belief because we want to have it validated in the same way as all our others.
Remember, the validation process is the drawing of the external circumstances to us that match the belief.
Another way to think of the creative visualization process is that you are forming a powerful magnet. The
images in your mind are magnetic and they attract external factors that match their own magnetism.
Creative visualization is commonplace:
In everyday conversations, you can hear people talking about the power of creative visualization, but in a different way than just described. How often have you heard others and maybe even yourself saying "Well, I just can't see that happening" or "I see!!" or "Get the picture?".
Do you think these visual references are just coincidental?
Of course they're not!
They are describing the process of creative visualization. If you cannot see something happening, it's because you literally have not made a picture of it happening in your mind.
Your mind is amazing and you only need to become more learned of the ways to use it effectively so it works for you and not against you. Learning and understanding the process of creative visualization is one such way your mind can become one of your greatest friends.
"How to use Creative Visualization most effectively"
In order to get the best out of the creative visualization process, you should aim to use these 4 guidelines;
- Visualize twice a day - once within the first 30-60 minutes of waking, the other just before you retire to bed
- Spend 5-10 minutes each time
- Imagine the scene(s) as realistically as you can, i.e. engage as many of your 5 senses as possible. How do things Feel, Sound, Look, Taste and Smell
- Always try and imagine in colour and make the images as large and bright and vivid as possible
But why these criteria, is there a reason?
In short "yes".
The conscious mind, which is the doorway to the subconscious, is quietest first thing in the morning and last thing at night. Therefore, your creative visualization message "gets through" more easily at these times because of less things going on in your mind - i.e., less "interference".
Spending 5-10 minutes is enough time for your subconscious to "get it" - creative visualization is an intense process that is highly emotionally charged, so there's no need to overcook it.
You have to be as realistic as possible, hence engaging sensation and colour, because that will make it easier for the subconscious to draw the real life events and circumstances to you that you need to fulfill your dreams. It will be able to "recognize" those matching external factors more easily.
Making the pictures bigger is just like turning the volume up - the louder something is the more easily it's heard.
With creative visualization you are actively building the foundations of success in your life.
